Mentoring

Our Mission

Everyone hopes for a chance in life to do something that truly impacts the world. That's what mentoring is all about — changing children's lives by providing guidance, support and positive relationships. The mission of the Community Connections Mentoring Program is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-on-one relationships with adult mentors that have a positive measurable impact on youth.

Get involved

We hope you will consider taking the journey in creating positive change by becoming a mentor. If you listen actively, care about people, empathize with youth, and see opportunities — then you are ready to make a difference! Click here for more information about becoming a mentor, or call us at 308-696-0975 for more information about joining our program.

impact teams

Community Connections Mentoring offers students at Madison Middle School the opportunity to participate in this program where they develop their knowledge and skills to make good choices and have a positive impact on the world around them. They learn the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse, enhance their emotional control skills, learn to recognize and counteract bullying, etc..  We meet once a week after school. Twice a month we go to the North Platte Senior Center, where each child is paired with a mentor. They participate in games and activities, and discuss things they have learned.

Please contact us for more information about our Impact Teams.

Are you a current Community Connections mentor or mentee?
